The Opportunity

A2B Australia is seeking a tenacious and experienced HR Business Partner with strong working knowledge in IR/ER to join their Mobility Services division.

This role will support the delivery of strategic objectives by partnering with and supporting key business leaders to align business objectives with the employees and management within the national customer experience centre.

The HRBP will cover the full suite of HR activities and will play an integral role in ongoing transformation. The HRBP will be proactive in their approach and an influential communicator, and they will be someone who can successfully balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions.


  • Developing the HR agenda.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to execute business strategies
  • Audit and update HR strategies, policies, and practices.
  • Improving and monitoring employee productivity and performance
  • Managing staff wellness initiatives.
  • Implement strategies to improve relations between staff and employers.
  • Evaluating staffing needs.
  • Supporting volume recruitment efforts.
  • Managing and allocating employee resources
  • Engaging with management and supervisors to increase leadership capabilities
  • Coordinate the implementation of organisational development strategies, frameworks, programmes, etc 

Essential Requirements

Our ideal candidate will be well versed in dealing with Industrial relations matters, performance management and grievances. They will possess a strong sense of business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and good organisational skills.

Additionally, our preferred candidate will possess:

  • MUST have a Bachelor of Human Resource Management
  • Masters level or higher in an associated discipline is desirable
  • 2+ years’ experience managing complex workplace investigations and IR/ER matters
  • 3+ years HR Generalist experience preferably within a rapidly changing and growing organisation
  • Solid experience in developing and managing change agendas
  • The ability to build strong and meaningful relationships across all levels of an organisation
  • Experience at interpreting business & department strategies and translating these into local People Plans
  • Experience in building leadership capability in a diverse and dynamic business
