About the Role...

We are looking to recruit a talented Human Resources Advisor to join the team at our manufacturing facility located in Albury, NSW. Reporting to the Manager People & Culture (based in Adelaide, SA) this is a true generalist position supporting our employees and people leaders. This role is an important interface between the business and the central HR team based in Adelaide who provide corporate services and specialist support in the areas of organisation capability, performance, and reward. Your primary portfolio will cover the Albury manufacturing facility and Wodonga warehouse. As part of the extended HR team, you may also provide support to our regional offices in NSW and Victoria and work with the team in Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for providing support and coaching on HR related matters including but not limited to;

  • Enterprise agreement interpretation, guidance and negotiations
  • Administration and Interpretation of policy and procedures
  • Industrial and employee relations
  • Attraction, Recruitment and onboarding
  • Workforce planning and labour supplier management
  • Performance management and coaching
  • HR administration & payroll liaison
  • Coordination of LMS modules, training and development activities
  • Employee engagement activities to support a positive workplace culture
  • Partnering with business stakeholders to deliver HR initiatives and to drive improvement

The person…

Applications are invited from suitably qualified HR professionals with broad generalist HR experience. Your previous exposure to manufacturing will be well regarded (but not essential) as will your proactiveness, adaptability and willingness to learn. The key to your success will be your ability to communicate effectively and develop relationships with people at all levels across the organisation. You will be comfortable dealing with a variety of work and handling challenging complex issues from time to time. You will be confident in giving advice and seeking further support or expert advice if needed. You’ll be expected to stay up to date with the latest developments in legislation and contemporary HR practices using your network and external resources. Comfortable with change, you’ll guide others and drive initiatives that work towards our common goals. Your ability to prioritise and manage competing demands will be essential.
