We are currently seeking an Organisational Development/HR Professional to join our innovative and dynamic Corporate Development Unit! In this role, you will partner with leaders and team members across the organisation to build our culture and engagement, drive performance and capability development, deliver OD and change projects to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Council and to help achieve our strategic outcomes.

This role requires a sound change management skill set and the ability to foster strong relationships with key people across the organisation to deliver a suite of improvements and programs that drive organisational improvements and effectiveness.

The starting salary for this role is $90,132 pa plus 9.5% Super.

Responsibilities Include

:
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify, develop and implement strategies and programs to improve organisational performance and maximise the effectiveness of our people and culture.
  • Develop and implement key deliverables and projects from the Council’s Workforce Strategy and the Corporate Development Unit’s strategic plan
  • Coach and provide best practice advice and guidance to stakeholders on various OD strategies and programs.
  • Lead talent management and succession planning initiatives, utilising workforce analytics and industry trends to identify skills shortages.
  • Design and manage various organisational-wide OD initiatives, culture and engagement programs and staff forums
Essential

Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Development/HR/Learning & Development/Business Improvement and/or relevant experience.
  • Ability to work at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills
  • Proven track record in project managing large projects, implementing improvement initiatives or change management programs
  • Strong experience in facilitating various workshops to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrates accountability and drives accountability with team members
  • Ability to work under pressure and ensure timely delivery of outcomes with quality.
