About the Role

Our People & Culture Department have an exciting opportunity for an experienced People and Culture Consultant who is versatile across all areas of Human Resources to join their team part-time. They will enjoy contributing to the overall operational effectiveness of the company as part of a highly effective team of 5. 


Primarily, your role as a Consultant is to support the Senior Manager - People & Culture with the delivery of end-to-end HR functions, predominately, but not limited to, recruitment, retention and rewarding high-performing staff by effectively maintaining governance throughout the organisation.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • End to end HR service delivery to managers and staff
  • The delivery of HR projects
  • Providing support the Senior Manager - P&C with the creation, development and implementation of the recruitment, retention and succession strategy.
  • Consultation regarding employee-related scenarios such as turnover, attendance, changes in the work environment as well as employee incentives that could lead to higher retention.
  • Support managers with issuing appropriate disciplinary actions or recognition based on employee behavior and performance.
  • Monthly reporting on staff wellbeing, performance and trends
  • Roll out and ongoing support of employee benefits.
  • Foster growth and development of the team.
  • Identify and provide recommendations to the Senior Manager - P&C on business improvement opportunities and personal development.


About You

The successful individual will have:

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • An ability to strategically think outside the box.
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Qualification within Human Resources (highly regarded).
