About The Role

Role Location- 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type- Fixed-term until May 2022; Full-time

As a T&C (Talent & Culture) Consultant within the Working Well Tribe, you will support multiple stakeholders by providing trusted specialist ER (Employee Relations) and H&S (Health and Safety) advice relating to policy, process, staff issues, and consequence management whilst ensuring business focused, values and purpose consistent across all ANZ geographies. In this role, you will also support team members on ER & H&S matters within the FR (First Responders), the Working Well Tribe, and T&C (Talent & Culture) more broadly. You will also contribute to the roll out of global T&C initiatives and Working Well Epics as needed.

Your key accountabilities will include-
  • Providing proactive and specialist advice and guidance within areas of responsibility
  • Ensuring the correct application of policies and processes globally
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with service users and stakeholders
  • Effectively triage and manage day to day queries via emails, call and/or other channels as decided by the business
  • Ensuring that service level agreements, call effectiveness, and other business parameters are met
  • Providing clear, trusted, and sound advice to service users on First Responder cases and projects as well as ER and on HSW matters
  • Being a trusted consultant and always the first point of contact for all T&C Working Well matters
  • Providing sound advice which appropriately considers commercial implications for the business
  • Displaying best practice FR case management and deployment of HSW products
  • Exercising proper judgement and making sound and timely decisions based on careful consideration of a range of factors, including all aspects of risk and return
  • Identifying and addressing areas for improvement in ER and Talent & Culture function
  • Providing coaching, advice, and support for less experienced team members
  • Providing coaching, advice, and support to uplift manager capability for managing employees
  • Provide proactive advice and support for employees.
  • Proactively calling out business cultures and its people that are not aligned with ANZ values and CC&E


About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following-
  • Experience in generalist HR skills around policies, processes, basic ER methodologies, and practical H&S knowledge
  • Demonstrated skilled communicator to inform and influence to achieve the right outcomes with all internal stakeholders
  • Solution focused trusted consultant to explore sound commercial outcomes
  • Demonstrated a curiosity to know the business to find ways to make things simpler and reduce risk
  • Growth mindset to remain up to date on policies, process, and industrial instruments across all ANZ geographies and then to consider the culture of the end user in its application
  • Team centric mindset and collaborative approach to our ways of working
