The Company

Our client is a successful and customer focused business that provides a sustainable contribution to Victoria's forests. They are looking for a driven and passionate individual to join their team.

The Role

They are looking for a qualified and experienced individual, looking for their next step up in their career into a Manager, People & Culture position. With two direct reports, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Accountable for the development, maintenance and delivery of their strategies, initiatives, programs and policies
  • Lead, manage and mentor the supportive and close-knit Human Resources team
  • Responsible for industrial and employee relations and negotiations of EBA's
  • Manage and deliver a range of human resource services including recruitment and induction, employee relations, training and development, and performance planning.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract, with potential to go permanent for the right person.

Your Profile

We will be looking for:

  • Previous experience working within government is a MUST
  • Previous experience in negotiating Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA's)
  • A strong background and understanding of Employee Relations
  • A degree or qualification in Human Resources Management, Psychology or relevant areas
  • An individual with a willingness to learn and an eagerness to progress in their career
