With over 1,300 employees working in over 3,500 sites located in Australia, we are expanding fast and need someone to join the rapidly expanding Recruitment team and help grow the company. This is a wonderful opportunity for a focused team player to make a positive impact and to become an integral part of the People & Safety team.

Based in our state-of-the-art Melbourne support office (Mulgrave) and reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this is a hands’ on, high volume position. You will provide end to end support through all phases of City’s recruitment cycle and will become a trusted advisor to our operations management teams.


You are a people person and believe in delivering an exceptional service to candidates and hiring managers alike. You are motivated, organised, determined and enjoy meeting tasks head on. You excel in a culture of collaboration and high performance.

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:-

  • Work in close proximity with HR Advisory Manages, HR Business Advisors and key stakeholders across the business.
  • Effectively advertise positions, source, screen and engage with prospective candidates across multiple platforms.
  • Provide support as and when required with the interviewing process across all disciplines within the business.
  • Diligently complete all candidate pre-employment checks.
  • Undertake general administrative and HR duties/activities.
  • Work to and achieve SLA’s/KPI’s
To be considered for this role be/have:
  • Experience in working within internal recruitment of agency environment.
  • Proven experience in ‘End to End’ recruitment process, particularly relating to trade (electrical, refrigeration, HVAC), engineering and high-volume blue-collar positions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to work within set processes and guidelines.
  • Proven ability to build strong client/candidate relationships.
  • Strong time management skills and the capability to prioritise workloads across multiple tasks and roles.
