JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a stand alone position working in a high volume, fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and great prioritization and communication skills. You will be engaging with stakeholders in ensuring deadlines are met and issues are resolved and be part of a dynamic and growing organization.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with business managers to analyze, prioritize and respond to HR related operations
  • Manage the end to end recruitment process including posting job adverts, screening, interviewing, on-boarding and inductions for new employees
  • Prepare employment contracts and maintain employees database using ConnX.
  • Provide employment advice, guidance and support to all levels of staff and maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality
  • Supporting managers with performance management, disciplinary matters and organizational changes
  • Manage work cover related issues and return to work programs
  • Maintain employee records and general HR administration support
  • Understanding and management of WHS


Key competencies to succeed in the role include:

  • Tertiary qualification in HR or equivalent
  • At least 2-4 years’ experience in a similar HR Generalist or Administrator role
  • Ability to demonstrate sound understanding of Employment Relations, Industrial Relations, Awards and instruments
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Assertive with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to take on additional tasks when required to get the job done
  • Current and ongoing working rights in Australia.
