JOB DESCRIPTION

Keolis Downer is Australia’s largest private provider of multi-modal public transport. We are the largest light rail operator in Australia and one of the nation’s most significant bus operators. Keolis Downer provides services to more then 210 million people each year.

A newly established franchise, selected to operate the South Australian Metropolitan Train Network, Keolis Downer Adelaide is on its way to creating a world class, safe, clean and reliable service to Adelaide’s passengers.

The Role

This is not your standard HR maintenance role. If you’ve always imagined being part of the build (designing a people and culture function that offers real commercial value) then this is for you.

To be successful in this role you must first and foremost 'Think Link a Passenger'. At Keolis Downer we value commitment, imagination and genuinely care – this role will see you challenging the status quo.

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources you will not only be partnering with the business to deliver on the people and culture strategy, you will be at the pointy end, where the commercial agenda meets safety and performance.

You will be integral to shift performance and culture across the business. As such you will be strong in all areas of Human Resources including employee relations, leadership coaching and change management. Whilst experience in the rail industry is not mandatory, it will be important for you to draw upon your experiences partnering with high performing engineering, operational and corporate leaders.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and driving successful relationships with Executive, leaders and employees to really understand the business.
  • Support and guide leaders through the entire employee lifecycle, to promote a high performance and engaging culture.
  • Manage and deliver organisational change and consultation processes including trade union and third-party relationships.

What we offer

This is a permanent role based at the Keolis Downer Adelaide’s head office in Dry Creek.

When you join the Keolis Downer family, you’re joining a global organisation with possibilities that literally span the globe. We also offer a competitive salary, study options, on-site car parking, opportunities for flexible working arrangements and programs to support wellbeing.

Please note applications will not be accepted via email.
