About The Role

The People and Development Team Leader provides leadership and coaching to staff on human resource related queries and supports Glen Eira Leisure with human resource related administrative functions. The role coordinates Glen Eira Leisure's recruitment and induction process as well as the learning and development programs. Key administrative duties include maintaining staff records and qualifications, preparing payroll and processing invoices.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Experience and knowledge in end-to-end recruitment and on-boarding of people in a broad range of disciplines.
  • A record of achievement in leading people, with the ability to coach and support staff on HR related matters such as staff performance and conflict resolution
  • Sound negotiation skills and the ability to diplomatically handle dispute resolution with staff
  • High degree of skill with various computer packages, such as Word, Excel and HR information system packages
  • Current CPR qualification or willing to obtain
