As Manager, People Systems and Reporting you will hold a key leadership role within Jetstar’s People Shared Services Team. In this role, you will partner with the broader Qantas Group People Systems Team to share your deep expertise and knowledge to influence the Group’s People Systems Strategy.


Reporting to the Head of People Shared Services, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing a small team of specialists, including our team members dedicated to your learning system;
  • Building expertise within our People Support and broader people team in the use of Workday and related systems – ensuring the effective use of the system to deliver accurate payroll outcomes and reporting;
  • Strategic data management for Jetstar, in partnership with Qantas, to support interface with and data flow to Jetstar’s downstream systems;
  • Upholding Jetstar’s system administration/super user responsibility, in partnership with Qantas for our Workday HRIS;
  • Daily management of Jetstar People Systems, including Workday, Achievers, SAP SuccessFactors (for LMS), Kineo Learning and ServicesDesk+;
  • In partnership with the Head of Shared Services, vendor management of external system providers including Achievers, SAP SuccessFactors, Kineo Learning and ServiceDesk+;
  • Supporting a range of critical People Systems projects as required, partnering with multiple stakeholders across the Qantas Group.


To achieve success in this position, you will bring the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in HR Systems, in a medium to large complex organisation, in a role accountable for the accurate maintenance of critical systems, processes and data
  • Experience utilising Workday and SAP SuccessFactors highly regarded
  • Experience in creating management reporting via PowerBI and/or Excel
  • Demonstrated critical systems thinking and problem solving ability
  • A strong influencer coupled with a continuous improvement mindset and genuine passion for coaching and developing others
  • A superior customer focus and comfort in building effective relationships with several stakeholders across the Qantas Group.


This role is imperative in developing and delivering a suite of people related reporting and analytics to support Jetstar’s business decisions. Additionally, core elements of this role include leading and developing direct reports, partnering with the broader People Shared Service Team and driving the strategic usage of systems and reporting for success.
