HR Advisor

The Role

We are looking for an HR Advisor to join our friendly team. This is a newly created role that reports to the Senior HR Manager and will be responsible for providing general HR support to the HR Business Partnering team. In this role you will be exposed to a variety of HR activities across general day to day business partnering, HR Operations and HR Projects. Critical to your success will be the ability to partner well with the broader HR team and Business Managers. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take their next step in their HR Career in a supportive team.

What you’ll be doing:

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing centralised support for all Business Units on generalist HR queries

  • Supporting the HRBP’s and HR team as required

  • Opportunity to provide HRBP support to some of our smaller business units

  • Ownership of updating the HR Intranet Portal and HR Policies and Procedures

  • HR Reporting such as turnover/leave balance/headcount reports and Workday (HRIS) related reports

  • Employee relations and Performance Management support to HRBP team. This may include drafting of correspondence, investigations, IR related activities and updates

  • Support with the HR Calendar of activities such as Talent Review and Planning, Employee Engagement, Annual Compensation Review and Annual Headcount/budget review process

  • Conducting exit interviews and identifying trends and themes

  • Supporting HRBP team with organisational design and restructure activities

  • Ad hoc projects as required such as submissions, inter department process improvement projects etc.

About you:

We are looking for someone who has relevant HR qualifications and experience who is ready to take the next step in their HR Career. You will be a team player, proactive, willing to learn and support a vibrant HR Business Partnering team.

Your Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an HR or related discipline

  • Previous experience in a complex Human Resources environment providing HR and ER advice

  • General Understanding of IR laws, relevant Awards and regulations

  • Ability to work autonomously and balance a variety tasks based on priorities

  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills

  • Deadline driven organised with a high attention to detail

  • Team player, ability to engage well with HR colleagues, Business Managers and other stakeholders.
