Your Impact

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, Supply Chain this role will see you working with employees and leaders at all levels across the Yatala Brewery, both on a strategic and operational level. You will be a key member of the Yatala Brewery Leadership team, building credible working relationships to influence and champion our HR agenda, driving teamwork across the site and focusing on the development of a high performing culture.

You will also play an active role in identifying opportunities for talent sharing, implementation of policy and ensuring delivery of best practice employee relations management.

Other key responsibilities include

  • Deliver the HR plan for the Yatala site to enable achievement of key business strategies and initiatives
  • Provide coaching and advice to senior leadership teams on people best practices and ensure quality of line-manager implementation
  • Drive and support the development and delivery of organisational and cultural change plans / interventions
  • Play a key role in the management of on-site employee and union issues
  • Work in partnership with your Manager and the Asahi Beverages Regional Hub to lead negotiations of the site Enterprise Bargaining Agreement
  • Oversee the performance and development of one HR Specialist
  • Partner with the local Health & Safety team to oversee safety initiatives and return to work cases
  • Implement talent processes to support the current and future development and deployment needs of the Supply Chain function

About you

You’re highly experienced in working with a unionised workforce and a motivated HR professional with a comprehensive understanding of Australian Industrial Relations frameworks. You’re comfortable with change and ambiguity, with a strong passion for continuous improvement who can demonstrate success in driving positive change.

In addition, you are:

  • Tertiary qualified in HR, Business, or another related discipline
  • Experienced HR Business partner with sound familiarity of HR specialist disciplines
  • Experienced in the management and negotiation of Enterprise Bargaining agreements
  • Experienced in participating in Fair Work Commission conciliations and arbitration hearings
  • Experienced in multi-tasking and working in a fast paced and dynamic manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG
  • Able to coach, influence and enable leader-led change as a key member of the site leadership team
  • An impeccable communicator, with strong leadership capabilities, and very comfortable in conflict situations
