Your Role

In your role as HR Officer, you will have responsibility for, but not be limited to:

Providing operational advice, leadership and direction in relation to a diverse range of human resources and payroll management policies, practices and administrative functions.
Planning scheduling and undertaking high quality work to meet explicit deadlines.
Providing accurate advice on issues and take personal responsibility for accurate completion of work.
Identifying opportunities for improved HR services and outcomes that are consistent with the achievement of organisational goals.
Employing your high level computer literacy to use departmental tools, software programs, tracking tools and resources (including payroll systems, databases, spreadsheets) to query and retrieve data stored in corporate information systems, and to analyse and present data to be utilised in workforce planning.
Ensuring compliance with government legislation, directives and departmental policies that impact on human resources management and payroll administration services.

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
