As a Mobilisation Officer you will provide mobilisation, roster coordination and administration support to the Mobile Projects division in Western Australia while working on Australia's biggest projects.

Reporting to the Mobilisation Manager, you will organise key flights, accommodation and training, providing information for employees and managers, including accommodation and car hire when required, filing of site mobilisation requests and personal information of workers while liaising with travel coordinators at different sites as you comply with their different requirements.

This is a true hands on role, fast paced, ideal for someone that can handle the pressures of a busy workload / desk. Positive can do attitude with excellent communication skills, be able to juggle a busy workload and adapt to different environments on all levels.

We are looking for someone with a strong customer service focus with the ability to meet tight deadlines whilst ensuring a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Booking all flights, accommodation and car hire for site workforce, visitors and short term workers
  • Booking Medicals, Inductions and arranging relevant pre-mobilisation training for all new employees and ongoing site personnel including VOC’s and any other relevant training required for the job.
  • Manage the de-mobilisation process of site personnel not returning to site.
  • Ensure central location of staff information and training certificates are maintained for ease of access and kept up to date
  • Liaise with managers and supervisors daily

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Ideally have industry knowledge or Concrete / Construction experience
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks to strict timeframes
  • Work independently whilst remaining a team player
  • Build working relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Organised with a strong customer service and people skills
  • Strong administration skills with exposure to Excel,
  • Ideally have exposure to Google sheets, BHP & RIO TINTO Interface
  • Confident dealing with a range of people at different levels both internally and externally
  • Be proactive in your approach to safety
