About the opportunity

The People and Capability Business Partner will contribute to building a high performance organisation by driving and implementing strategic people initiatives, building leadership capability and upskilling our employees to create a future-ready workforce. You will also lead effective change management, workforce planning, performance management, talent, capability, as well as leading specialised employee experience project work in line with organisational development requirements.

This role will suit a seasoned practitioner who has demonstrated experience partnering with leaders in a dynamic fast paced environment, with a continuous improvement focus. This autonomous role will see you use your professional judgement to bring our corporate values to life, influence positive outcomes and coach our leaders. You will bring your superior influencing skills and organisational development expertise, to support leaders on all matters impacting the employee lifecycle.


About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Degree or tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related discipline with demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Experience in providing generalist human resources support to internal stakeholders and implementing strategic organisational change
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills as well as demonstrated experience in influencing senior stakeholders
  • High level of understanding of all relevant legislation and current Industrial Relations landscape
  • Demonstrated experience working in a unionised environment
  • Pragmatic approach and the ability to problem solve and navigate through ambiguity to achieve solid decision making
  • Flexibility to travel to the regions as required
