We have an exciting opportunity for a Return to Work and Wellness Coordinator to join our team - between our Kingsford and Adelaide CBD locations. Working as part of a collaborative Human Resources team, the successful candidate will provide hands-on support across the business, partnering with various managers and stakeholders to contribute to the overall success of the organisation and early intervention rehabilitation program.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:
Perform the role of Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator (RRTWC) for injuries regulated by self-insurance in South Australia, as well as provide Return to Work support for injuries that occur in other States within Australia;
Facilitating and attending regular face to face visits (in SA only - or via phone for our interstate locations) with the injured worker, employer, treating health practitioners and allied health professionals, with a view to empower and influence parties to participate in the return to work process and achieve early return to work outcomes;
Development of RTW plans in consultation with injured workers, treating health practitioners and allied health professionals;
Work with managers to create systems that support return to work (including identification of suitable duties, alternative positions / training requirements, ergonomic equipment requirements);
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders coupled with a strong customer-focused service delivery approach;
Design, deliver and support awareness campaigns, toolkits, Health and Wellbeing Programs and training initiatives (including internal staff communications, resources on mental health and wellbeing initiatives);
Raise awareness and communicate wellbeing information and knowledge in a relevant, effective, and actionable way, to drive engagement with our people through strong communication.

Essential Criteria:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Return to Work;
Current driver’s licence;
Understanding of case management principles;
Demonstrated understanding of processes and techniques for optimising ‘return to work’ and rehabilitation outcomes;
Working knowledge of the Return to Work Act 2014 and Regulations, Self-Insured Employer Code of Conduct and certification as a Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator;
General Knowledge of Systems, Procedures and Document Control principles.
