Amana Living is one of the largest Aged Care providers in Western Australia and is a dynamic, people focused organisation, dedicated to delivering exceptional care and services. We offer a broad range of services, including residential care facilities, transition care programs, retirement living villages, home care, day care, respite, and dementia specific services.

The Team

We are a small, but happily effective recruitment team of 4, looking to add additional full or part time role(s), initially starting with a 6 month fixed term contract (with the strong potential for extension) to assist with a period of growth activity.

We are a team that looks for efficiencies in all that we do, and are not afraid to embrace technology (and lots of it) to assist with our processes but also understand that some of the more administrative tasks in our recruitment process, are necessary to ensure we are recruiting quality candidates into an aged care environment.

In the past two years, we have implemented a new ATS, video interviewing technology, online assessments, automated reference checking and an onboarding platform. As a result, we are well set up for a virtual way of working, but we also love a good team catch up. This role requires a well organised volume recruiter, from an internal or agency recruitment background, to primarily work on high volume roles. You will need to be self motivated, resilient and able to work independently but be a strong collaborator, always willing to jump in and lend a hand when required.

What will you be doing?

  • Partnering with our residential care and home care business areas to recruit across a broad range of high volume roles (in particular, Carers, Support Workers and Hospitality workers).
  • Recruiting for professional roles for our Corporate office as required
  • Managing the end to end recruitment process including screening, interviews, reference checks and onboarding.
  • Scheduling the appropriate onboarding and inductions for new starters, meeting fortnightly induction numbers
  • Proactively building a pool of talent for your portfolio. Sourcing and engaging high quality candidates for current and future opportunities
  • Offer a consultative approach to hiring managers, including building and maintaining effective working relationships, regular visits to our residential care (nursing home) facilities, and providing recruitment and selection advice and coaching.
  • Continuously identify and evolve sourcing strategies to ensure that Amana Living attract the best quality candidates available in the market.
  • Various project work as required
Who We Are Looking For
  • A team player with a can-do attitude, who is proactive and responsive and enjoys high volume recruitment or has had exposure to high volume recruitment from a recruitment admin perspective.
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills, plus a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • You will be known for your amazing customer service skills, adapt easily to changing priorities, and have a continuous improvement approach to work.
To Be Successful You Need To Have Experience
  • In a high volume, fast paced recruitment team or agency. We would love to hear from agency or internal recruiters or Recruitment Administrators looking for their next role.
  • Experience within the aged care/ health care industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with Page Up (preferred)
  • Drivers Licence and car for occasional travel to sites
