 An exciting opportunity has become available for a Training and Development Specialist to join our rapidly expanding and innovative organisation.

Working within our People & Advancement team, we are looking for an experienced Training and Development Specialist to manage our training function. You will have experience working with SMEs to design and deliver training content that can demonstrate return on investment.

Your role will support the Global business and include the full training and assessment remit, responsibilities include:

  • Delivering training and assessing competency
  • Onboarding new starters and delivering the induction process
  • Monitoring and maintaining continuous training and development within the organisation
  • Development and maintenance of team skills matrix, training plans and training content/material
  • Conducting call quality audits monthly for the customer service facing teams
  • Maintaining training content and processes on a SharePoint based knowledge hubs across each team
  • Developing, Maintaining and Delivering annual online compliance modules
  • Providing monthly board reports on training priorities and training hours
  • Driving a positive learning culture with support and understanding
  • Building rapport with internal & external stakeholders 
  • Ad hoc training & administration duties as required

Ideal candidates will have the following attributes: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in training assessment with demonstrated results
  • Insurance experience in training will be highly regarded
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment required
  • Tertiary education will be well regarded
  • Experience delivery training in adult education
  • Experience using an E learning management system
  • Articulate understanding and knowledge ideal
  • Innovative and hard working 
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and a team player 
  • Results driven
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills 
  • Efficient time management skills
  • Attention to detail
