About The Role

The People & Culture Manager has the opportunity to help shape our organisation to be the best it can be. We work collaboratively, and our culture is one of generosity, transparency, inventiveness and openness.

Reporting to the MD, you will

  • coach and advise our team across the whole employee journey
  • lead and deliver projects that improve the overall employee experience
  • provide exceptional recruitment and onboarding experiences (both permanent and temporary employees)
  • be an advocate for, and champion of, employee well-being
  • proactively provide employee relations advice act as a fair and trusted advisor to all
  • work with our managers to create opportunities for development and growth on consulting projects
  • identify opportunities to support our managers to be better leaders
  • manage and run engagement surveys, interpreting data and developing responses aligned to our culture and ways of working
  • develop, refine and deliver on our employee value proposition
  • manage and facilitate our 6 monthly performance review process in Culture Amp
  • partner with payroll to manage our pay cycle
  • develop and be responsible for new HR policies and procedures as required
  • assess our current HR programs and propose innovative solutions in culturally aligned ways


Who You Are

Requirements
  • an established People & Culture practitioner (approximately 5 years experience)
  • intrinsically driven, highly collaborative and enjoy taking a hands-on approach
  • possess a natural ability to resolve interpersonal conflict, should it arise
  • excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • sensitive to cultural differences and gender issues, as well as a commitment to equal opportunities and diversity
  • strengths at building trust and rapport whilst also coaching and advising colleagues and managers
  • familiar with developing and implementing HR policies, programs and systems
  • knowledge and understanding of Australian employment legislation and compliance requirements, HR policies and best practices
