This is a critical yet exciting time to join this organisation as their new Head of Group People and Culture, to join a team of senior leaders whose pride in their brand is palpable and engaging.


About The Role

We are seeking a technically superior senior HR Leader to drive and deliver organisational objectives and outcomes. Reporting to the Global Director, this role is responsible for partnering with business leaders to ensure the successful implementation of People and Culture strategies that drive organisational effectiveness and a positive workplace culture. This role will see you based in South Australia, leading People and Culture members locally and interstate.

The Head of Group People and Culture will contribute as an active member of the senior leadership team and drive the People and Culture agenda to improve the organisational performance. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Lead, develop and support a highly effective and efficient People and Culture team
  • Coach and advise leaders on all aspects of People and Culture strategies and objectives
  • Ensure talent, succession and workforce planning support improved business performance and growth
  • Lead and direct People and Culture projects
  • Lead all compliance activities relating to employment, pay and safety ensuring the business adheres to all legislation
  • Provide leadership to the national payroll function to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and taxation requirements
  • Provide leadership and support to the WHS Manager to support all operational safety initiatives and actions
  • Embed recruitment strategies to attract top talent and establish future workforce staffing plans 

About You

You will have proven experience working as an effective, engaging and respected People and Culture leader within a commercial and ambitious organisation. We are looking for that special people leader who combines best human resource practices with a natural abundance of energy, warmth and genuine enthusiasm which inspires and invigorates the team around them. This role needs resilience, pragmatism and courage to support the organisation during a time of change and transformation; are you that person?

  • Demonstrated capability and knowledge across all HR and governance disciplines
