  • Option to work PT/FT depending on business demand


We are currently seeking an energetic and committed individual to join our friendly team in our Head Office in the Sydney CBD. Reporting directly to the VP of HR, the successful candidate will will support the HR Manager in delivering the full range of human resource services. Specifically, the role will involve recruitment and advising on HR policies and processes across the business, ensuring the most effective utilisation of human resources for the purpose of achieving strategic business objectives.


To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following capabilities:


Recruitment, Selection & Employee Lifecycle 

  • Ensure effective sourcing of candidates, including posting on job boards;
  • Interview all applicants selected, recommend decision on salary & employment conditions;
  • Maintain electronic personnel files and database;
  • Manage induction / onboarding process and monitor probationary period rigorously;
  • Manage the new starter program including contract preparation, activation of payroll, updating headcount report etc.
  • Update and maintain HRIS


Employee Relations 

  • Manage dispute resolution procedures with employees, labour relations authorities, and other relevant agencies so that the organisation's interests are protected;
  • Consult on issues related to workplace relations and performance management;
  • Provide advice and assistance on policies, procedures, legislation, and awards.
  • Manage salary review process alongside management, including organising/facilitating KPI discussions. 
  • Assist management with administration, which includes preparing and distribution of letters to staff 
  • WorkCover injury and claims management with workers compensation processes, including lodgment and liaison with workers compensation insurer and broker (where required).
