An exciting opportunity for a passionate, innovative HR Business Partner to join the People and Culture team of a global healthcare organisation.

Play a key role in promoting an energised and performance driven environment that supports the culture and values of the organisation, creating a positive employee experience through all interactions. Partnering with the key business leaders of the Retail business you will proactively assist them to build the right culture and capabilities of their people to achieve the business goals. 


This is a fulltime role based at our Parkside Office, Adelaide. 


Main Duties & Responsibilities:


  • True HR Business Partnering role with a key focus on stakeholder engagement with leaders and employees in the field
  • Work collaboratively as part of the People and Culture team located in Adelaide and Sydney to develop departmental goals, objectives and systems, contribute to HR projects and initiatives
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to provide HR guidance / advice, (coaching, counselling, career development, performance improvement, and disciplinary actions) for their area of the business
  • Foster positive working relationships with the senior managers of the business to proactively identify People and Culture needs to assist leaders to build the right culture and capabilities of their people to achieve business objectives.
  • Solid understanding of HR key metrics used within HR and proven ability to ensure all metrics are met within the Retail business
  • Support the organisations Workplace Health & Safety obligations through monitoring and coordinating group requirements and initiatives within all areas of the business consisting of ANZ
  • Identify gaps, implement operational and process improvements
  • Provide input on department restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning within the Contact Centre
  • Participate in change management projects and HR-related communication.


Desired Knowledge, skills & experience:


  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources essential
  • Solid understanding of current employment legislation and FairWork Legislation, including Awards interpretation specially in relation to a Retail business essential
  • Previous experience in Work Health and Safety in ANZ including Return to Work Legislation and process
  • Strong Management Reporting skills
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in generalist or specialist HR advisory within a Retail environment
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, integrity and honesty Proven ability to work within a business with a national footprint and remote teams
  • Knowledge of contemporary people and performance strategies and systems
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategy into strategic HR initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence leaders to enable you to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business
  • Strong systems knowledge (Excel, Word, Power Point, Payroll), HRIS system knowledge desirable
  • Experience in Industrial Relations matters including FairWork claims and mediation desirable
  • Excellent communication (written & Oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks
  • High level of adaptability and ability to take initiative
  • Knowledge and understanding of Australian/New Zealand employment legislation
  • Experience presenting and facilitating desirable
