Sitting within our broader People and Development team, you will work in a collaborative environment advising and supporting your client groups, work across key universities to attract talent and help high-performing students through our recruitment process to start their careers with us.

As a member of our experienced and friendly People and Development team within Australia's leading law firm, you will be challenged, supported and guided as you continue to learn and develop during your career at Allens.

Your day

Your Role Within The Team Could Typically Include

You will engage your stakeholders (both internal and external) to attract, engage, select and onboard new talent to Allens.

  • Acting as a brand ambassador of Allens externally - including organising and presenting with confidence at external events (eg Universities) – and hosting sessions onsite at Allens.
  • Working with others across the firm, including direct contact with Partners, senior Lawyers and our events teams to organise engaging functions and programs for students.
  • Leading our market-leading engagement programs like Dive In designed to provide an insight into the world of commercial law to high performing students.
  • Designing, project managing organising and leading our Clerk and Graduate programs.
  • Managing our social media persona.
  • Identifying and proactively managing emerging talent.

What You'll Bring
  • Experience in a similar recruitment role, preferably in legal, professional services or within a complex organisation.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with demonstrated experience in working across multiple teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work proactively with very senior stakeholders internally and at universities
  • Problem solving skills and a willingness to take ownership.
  • Excellent candidate management experience.
  • A desire and ability to grow as a recruitment and HR professional.
  • A strong team ethic.
  • An ability to establish a professional profile and external networks.
