Why are we hiring this person?

The rapidly evolving nature of the recruitment industry, which is amplified in our specialisation of digital, marketing and creative, has created a need for this new role in our business, and we are super excited about the impact it will have!

The last two years have seen a huge increase in demand for Human Centered Design Talent and our clients are telling us this is only set to increase in the future.

By increasing our engagement, our brand and our network within Melbourne's UX, CX and Service Design Community the Talent Community Manager will be pivotal to us accessing the Human Centered Design Talent that our clients require.

What would you be doing?

At Aquent our clients range from $1bn turnover multinational corporates to small independent agencies and everything in between; and they all expect the very best Talent. And the very best Talent are hard to find, hard to engage with and generally speaking, already in full time jobs or contracts.

By using social and digital channels, face-to-face meetings, plus hosting and attending industry events, you would be required to map out the Talent market, engage with the very best Talent and ultimately build solid and trusting relationships to identify and communicate how we can assist them further their careers.

By building this extensive Talent community and assessing the skills of the most in-demand Talent, we become advisors to our Talent and support many of them as their careers progress to the point where they now come to us to help build their own teams.

So a successful person in this role will think both short and term, be constantly networking and meeting Talent to immerse themselves in the Human Centered Design industry landscape and will have exceptional organisational skills with which to track and chart success.

Who are we looking for?

The role requires a fearless networker, with a relentless dedication to providing exceptional customer service and delivering successful, quality outcomes.

You may be working in digital, marketing or creative and interested in a career switch that will still enable you to use your industry knowledge, creative passion and work with many of most highly skilled Talent in Melbourne.

Alternatively, you may be a Recruitment Consultant already recruiting in our space, or perhaps in a totally different sector and wanting a change to focus in this highly specialised, fast moving and niche sector.

Regardless of background, with some of the best training and development programs in the recruitment industry, we adapt accordingly to help the right people succeed. We have done it before. Many times.
