JOB DESCRIPTION

Who we are

We are a purpose led Executive Search firm looking for likeminded professionals who share our drive to help others.

We recognize that you may not have considered recruitment as a career path before. What matters most to us is your desire to make a difference, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

At Acacia, we believe success is challenging convention. We live the change we want to see in the recruitment industry, putting great emphasis on providing a high quality, respect and value filled customer experience. That is why we actively seek out people who love helping and working with others. People like you.

If you have been curious about a move into a new, corporate role – this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

What we need

An energetic, people person who shares our passion for unlocking the potential in others.

Your career to date has helped to develop your strong advisory and influencing skills. You have always enjoyed helping others and want to apply these skills in a meaningful, corporate focused role.

You’ll be degree qualified and preferably have 10 + years of post-university experience. You are a flexible and resilient problem solver with a genuine desire to support success in others.

At Acacia, it is essential you are a team player who cares about delivering projects to a high standard together.

What you’ll do

As an Executive Consultant, you will manage high quality, low volume, senior level appointments for private and publicly listed companies. You will work collaboratively with our experienced team of Researchers, Directors and HR Advisors connecting high performing talent to likeminded businesses.

We will provide all the training you will need for a seamless career transition. With our support you will learn how to manage the recruitment process from initial screening, pitching and assessment through to appointment. We will embrace your natural curiosity, helping you to become a master interviewer and assessor. You will learn how to ask the right questions to understand candidate motivation, ability and alignment.

Like us you will strive to provide the best possible customer service. We will welcome your skill for giving honest and helpful feedback. Your advice will help clients and candidates make important decisions for their businesses and careers.

This role is free from sales. There will be no cold calling or business development required, leaving you open to develop and perfect our assessment methodology.

What it will be like

Our small team of 7 work together in modern, open plan workspace in Subiaco. We treat everyone as adults, doing our best to provide a fun, flexible environment where people can work toward their own personal career and life goals.

Everyone’s voice is heard and validated here. We don’t compete. We collaborate. We harness the right strengths in the right people to nurture their talents.

Recruitment experience holds the least weight in our internal hiring decisions. The most important thing you can bring to our team is your positive attitude and willingness to learn.

We love what we do. Someone who sees work as more than a job will fit in perfectly here.

An application

We know a career change can be daunting. The first step is letting us know you are open to an exploratory conversation.

A senior team member will give you a call to tell you more about us, the role and what to expect. That way you can decide if this is the right path for you.

To express your interest in a call, please submit a copy of your CV and a cover letter outlining what interests you most about this opportunity.

We can’t wait to hear from you.
