WHS Manager, Vertical Farming - South Australia

We are seeking an experienced WHS Manager to join our Vertical Farming Category based at our state of the art Mushroom Facility in Monarto South, South Australia.

Reporting to the State Manager, SA the site's WHS Manager works in a hands-on role and is focused upon leading, developing and managing the area of work health and safety to drive improvements and to ensure the site complies with relevant legislation, standards, codes of practice, customer requirements and implements effective management systems and practices. The role will involve the effective analysis of processes in order to reduce risk and minimise exposure to the business, assisting all departments to meet the expectations of internal and external audit requirements, provide advice, guidance, assistance and direction to all employees in matters pertaining to WHS and assist as required in the aligning, building, coaching and development of safety capability in all departments.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a WHS management role, solid understanding of WHS legislative and risk management knowledge, experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments, development of and delivery of specific training modules and hands on approach to working with small teams. The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate an ability to engage at all levels of the organisation.
