About the role

People Services deliver HR Services to the Parliamentary Departments and direct support for all Members and their staff. We thrive on delivering best-practice HR services and creating an amazing employee experience where people can grow, feel valued, be themselves and do their best work every day.

In this role you will work closely with the Manager, People Operations and Executive Director Resource Management to deliver recommendations and guide policy implementation across the Parliament.

You will review, enhance and deliver policy and projects for the entire employee lifecycle with a particular focus on Workplace Behaviour, Culture and Equal Opportunity.

The successful candidate will be appointed within the Grade 5.1 to 5.2 classification range, $101,120 to $122,348, commensurate with their skills and experience.

About You

You will have substantial people and policy experience with a demonstrated ability to research and provide specialist HR advice in a fast-paced environment.

You will be approachable, authentic, and solutions focused, with excellent communication skills and an ability to influence and form meaningful relationships with key stakeholders.

You will have the scope and the means to influence change in an open and supportive environment while contributing to a small but high performing team.
