About the Role

We have an immediate opportunity for a National Resource Manager to assist with workforce planning and scheduling within our Infrastructure Managed Services team of consultants. As a Resource Manager you will be responsible for scheduling all of our resources against projects, managing resource requests from the business, ensuring our consultants are utilised on the right project work, and providing guidance to our Technical Managers around desired skillsets and forecasted skill gaps. You will be someone who is highly organised and works with a sense of urgency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic solutions to staff engagement issues
  • Work with stakeholders to identify resources to fulfill project demands
  • Resolve complex resource conflicts
  • Ensure resources are utilised and engaged on assignments
  • Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders around resource availability and skills
  • Act as main point of contact for internal resource pool regarding new assignments
  • Provide strategic direction around forecasted demands and skills


Previous Experience:

  • Previous experience in a workforce planning or scheduling role would be ideal
  • Previous experience working in the IT domain would be highly advantageous
  • Exceptional communications skills with the ability to push back
  • Organised approach with a high sense of urgency

This role requires someone who can see the bigger picture and offer solutions to senior stakeholders. You will be working as part of a centralised Resource Management Team with ownership of a pool of managed services consultants.
