Our business is growing and the Senior Business Training Manager role is a newly created position with a groupwide mandate working across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Director, Centre of Excellence, the role will have a focus on building and owning the overarching technical training strategy, while working hand in hand with our people, ensuring they are trained and have access to the most current materials.

Our people are the key to our success and your new role will be key to their development, with your main responsibilities including:

  • Developing and owning the group’s business training strategy.
  • Working closely with key stakeholders, to develop and deliver business specific and group level training content.
  • Developing and delivering induction and onboarding content to new starters to the group.
  • Building and owning the training library, including continuous updating to ensure currency of materials.
  • Creating and maintaining compliance training across the group.
  • Continually developing and modifying training courses across a range of audio-visual delivery mediums.
  • Translating customer needs into marketable training solutions, focusing on core competencies required to excel across specific roles and disciplines.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ yearsin a training development and delivery function.
  • Certificate IV – Training and Assessment.
  • Proven experience in owning a similar function in a comparable corporate environment.
  • Superior presentation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong stakeholder management focus.
  • Commercially astute and strategic in approach.
