Role Overview

To support PMY’s rapid growth and three recent acquisitions, we are seeking a highly motivated and growth orientated corporate services professional who is keen to build a world-class company culture supported by best practice frameworks.


In this new role, you will be responsible for overseeing our talented Corporate Services team and to provide end to end, ‘hands-on’ human resources services and support to the global business.

Responsibilities

Management of Corporate Services team

  • Manage the corporate services team consisting of HR support, marketing, communications, IT support (outsourced) and general administration.


Talent Acquisition

  • Enhance and streamline the recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to assist in attracting top talent.
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process for key new roles.
  • Manage the onboarding of new employees.

Talent Retention

  • Enhance our talent development and retention processes.
  • Assist in the development and review of the PMY Group employee incentive program.
  • Establish and manage development plans and employee training and professional development.


People Management

  • Mature and streamline the recruitment, onboarding, training and retention processes.
  • Manage all activities around performance management, misconduct and grievance, as required.
  • Manage employee feedback and reporting, as required. Manage the processes for departing employees.


Culture

  • Create, organise and manage in-house initiatives to promote staff well-being.
  • Plan and manage staff engagement activities including communications.

Organisation Frameworks, Systems and Leadership Support

  • Manage the integration of key corporate systems for the recently acquired businesses (with a strong emphasis on HR systems), and deliver continual improvement of these systems, policies and procedures. Other key systems will cover various corporate services functions including HR, IT (outsourced), marketing and communications.
  • Provide strong leadership and direction around people and culture issues.
  • Consult to the executive team on corporate services related issues.
  • Promote best practice corporate principles and provide guidance and support to employees.
  • Review and update key policies and procedures, including HR and OH&S, to meet legislative and business requirements.

Education and Skills Requirements

  • Tertiary qualified in Management, Commerce, Business or related discipline.
  • Significant (8+ years) experience in managing an HR function.
  • Experience in managing a corporate services team.
  • International HR experience preferred, but not required.
  • Proven experience in implementing new policies and procedures.
  • Experience in working in a high growth business.
  • Exemplary leadership, time management and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to participate in key decisions and solve problems, as required.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
