About The Role

This is a rare opportunity to work in a truly hybrid role, that bridges both the generalist HR and recruitment space. If you love to dabble in both, then this may be the position for you!

You will work closely with your HR colleagues across the full breadth of generalist HR matters, including management of grievances, cases and disciplinary processes, and providing guidance and support to people leaders to effectively manage their workforce. A key focus will also be the provision of advice on the interpretation and application of Calvary's enterprise agreements, awards, policies and procedures. Additionally, as one half of the dedicated recruitment team, you will provide end to end recruitment and onboarding support across all of Calvary South Australia's services to ensure candidates have a positive experience when applying for a role with us.

You will bring to this role a sound understanding of industrial and policy frameworks, and experience in the management of grievances, formal performance management process and other case management matters, together with experience in managing internal recruitment processes, using HRIS and applicant management systems. You love to find new ways to streamline processes that enhance HR and recruitment service delivery. You thrive on competing demands and embrace the unpredictability that a typical day in HR brings.

This role will give you exposure to the full breadth and depth of HR and recruitment, in a fast paced and growing industry, with an organisation and team that applies its mission and values in everything we do.

What You Bring
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or related field, or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated experience working as a generalist HR professional, with a strong focus on end to end internal recruitment including high volume recruitment campaigns
  • Demonstrated understanding of, and experience in the interpretation and application of employment legislation, enterprise agreements, policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of grievances, formal performance management processes and other case management matters
  • Highly developed skills and experience in using HRIS, e-recruitment systems and programs in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted, collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with experience in delivering presentations to internal stakeholders
  • A personal committment to the Mission, Vision, and Values of Calvary
