To support the Department for Education on its journey towards word class by 2028, the department is seeking to engage an external human capital consultancy to undertake the review on the end to end recruitment and selection process and agreed terms of reference, milestones and outputs, working in partnership with People & Culture. As part of this process the department seeks to redesign the recruitment and selection process and develop a roadmap of prioritized reforms to drive improvement.

The Recruitment Project Officer will be responsible to the Lead Consultant, Workforce Solutions for the provision of a range of project and recruitment duties which support the delivery of the discovery phase of the Recruitment and Selection Transformation project. The Recruitment and Selection Transformation team is a small, agile team that leads and manages the analysis of the current recruitment functions and is responsible for developing and implementing the subsequent phases of design and execute to support recruitment transformation

Special Conditions

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department of Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. A current DHS child-related employment screening will be recognised as a WWCC until it expires. The incumbent will be required to undertake Responding to Abuse & Neglect (RAN) full day/online training course every three years. For all other Special Conditions please refer to the Role Description.

Selection Criteria

Remuneration

ASO5 - $80,830 - $89,897 pa

Special Note

There are two full-time contract vacancies available, commencing asap for a period of 12 months.
